We apologize for the recent down-time of ContractJobHunter. Our staff was traveling over the holiday weekend and working remotely when a a power surge due to building repairs at our ISP knocked out the ethernet switch that connected our servers and internal systems to our ISP's servers. Unfortunately, the error was not immediately obvious as the connection was showing that it was "live" and ought to be working. We spent a day fighting through snowstorms and closed airports to get home to Seattle where we were greeted by another snowstorm. The next day, we had to then diagnose our own systems to prove that the issue was at our ISP. Ultimately, the situation was resolved by simply disconnecting an ethernet cable from one switch at the ISP to a different switch.
We appreciate the patience of our members and advertisers while we worked to resolve the situation and get ContractJobHunter back in service. Thanks for your understanding and encouragement during the outage.
