We are seeking a skilled Master Seat Builder to join our PDS Tech team, specializing in the fabrication, installation, refurbishment, and modification of aircraft interior equipment. If you have experience with aircraft, luxury automobile, or boat seat building and are comfortable working in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment, this position is for you.
Location: Hartford, CT Job Type: Full-Time, Contract to Perm Pay Rate: $29.76 - $35.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to factory, shop, or hangar general work requirements.
Follow environmental health and safety policies, participating in 5-S activities.
Fabricate, install, refurbish, and modify aircraft interior equipment and furnishings.
Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
Document work according to manuals and industry regulations.
Assist with aircraft maintenance both on-site and off-site as needed.
Clean aircraft interiors as required.
Requirements:
Experience building aircraft seats or luxury automobile/boat seats.
Previous experience in aircraft upholstery (including soft goods and upholstery installation/removal).
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings (preferred).
Basic PC skills and the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms (preferred).

Pay Details: $29.76 to $35.71 per hour
