Design Engineer - Interior

How to thrive in this role?
Ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years in Corporate Business Jet Interiors exp.
•You hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years relevant experience or will have a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation.
•You are proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred)
•You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
What are your contributions to the team?
•Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of Customer aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.
•Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications.
•Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
•Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests.
