BIM Specialist

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a BIM Specialist for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Brentwood, TN.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and Sketchup.
o Strong background in mechanical design principles within a BIM environment.
o Experience in conducting clash detection analysis and resolving coordination issues.
o Knowledge of 2D animation creation and schematic development using BIM tools.
o Familiarity with MicroStation for specific project needs is a plus.
o Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
o Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in BIM modeling and documentation

JOB SUMMARY:
As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing Building Information Modeling processes and ensuring the successful implementation of BIM technology on various projects. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with project teams, managing BIM software applications, and optimizing project workflows.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
o Create preliminary and detailed design models and drawings, including developing conceptual layouts, preliminary and final design drawings, and record drawings.
o Coordinate and maintain REVIT standards with multiple partnering firms.
o Develop Revit models and produce detailed drawings for structures of various types and materials.
o Interpret and use engineer's markups/sketches and client's base drawings/existing drawings (where applicable) to generate models/drawings.
o Work closely with engineers to ensure drawings are accurate and completed on time.
oCoordinate structural project work with other disciplines.
o Assist in the development of cost estimates and other engineering and construction support tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma

WORK HOURS: Full-Time, Monday to Friday.
