Description:
I am seeking a highly skilled Developmental Test Engineer for a contract position in Overland Park, KS. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension.
This role is focused on developmental test engineering for radar systems, with a strong emphasis on expertise in RF testing, network security, and familiarity with ASTERIX standards. Below are the key details and requirements for the position:
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required, Must have the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test procedures based on defined requirements.
Perform tests and demonstrate results to customers.
Resolve complex technical and testing challenges.
Contribute to radar system testing (prior experience is a plus).
Utilize FEA or DoD testing processes.
Conduct tasks including requirement mapping, test procedure development, dry runs, test execution, and reporting.
Required Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience:
5+ years in test engineering (radar system experience is a plus).
Proficiency in RF testing, including RF frequency measurements and analyzers.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with ASTERIX standards (preferred).
Experience with network security (preferred).
Pay Rate: $30 to $57 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in test engineering, particularly in radar and RF systems. It requires the ability to develop test procedures, communicate effectively with clients, and address technical challenges confidently.
