Job Title: Systems Engineer 4 REMOTE
Location: Berkeley, MO
Duration: 12 Month (possibility of extension)
Timings: 8:30 A.M. to 05:00 P.M.

Position Comment: 100% Remote. Candidates must be within driving distance to a client site.

Job Description:

· Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex life cycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions.

· Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

· Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

· Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

· Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

· Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Position Responsibilities:

· Critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, & consultation

· Ability to communicate concisely in writing, verbally, one-on-one, in small groups, and to large audiences

· Experience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team members

· Maintain situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencing
Proactively communicate with various leadership team/s, peers and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

· Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

· 1+ years of experience with MIL-HDBK-516 and implementing military airworthiness processes
Experience working with or on an engineering team

· Experience with the operation of aircraft systems and knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: aerodynamics, stability and control, or structures.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

· 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience in FAA certification

· Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules

· Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

· Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processes

· Experience with the operation of aircraft systems and knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: propulsion or mission systems

· Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance.

Education:

· Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.

· Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
