Expert of Configuration Management - China - Aerospace , Aero Engines

Our Aerospace Client in Shanghai require an Expert Engineer in Configuration Management. Candidates must be willing to live and work in China.

Responsibilities:

To plan and to construct the configuration management system of the company.
To guide configuration management activities and to improve the configuration management system( including configuration management planning(CMP), configuration identification(CI), Configuration change control, configuration audit and verification and Supplier Configuration Management planning throughout the product life cycle.

To solve/help solving the problems which may occur during the product life cycle.
Be responsible for the training of Configuration management officers within the company.
To complete other technical management work assigned by Management.

Job requirements:

At least 10 years relevant engineering experience in aero engine or aircraft configuration management (including product life cycle management).
Have a deep knowledge in the field of aero engine/aircraft and management and is familiar with the life cycle management of aero engine product.
Experience in multiple models (including derivatives) major product projects and having outstanding achievements preferred.
Masters degree or above
Understand the relationship between configuration management and each stage of product life cycle. Understand the configuration management characteristics of each stage.
Understand how to identify products and configuration information.
Ensure the consistency and traceability of product and product configuration information.
Control configuration changes variances. Make sure that the approved configuration changes are implemented in configuration documents and physical items.
