This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest aerospace companies!

The contracts are regularly extended and direct opportunities are often available.

In this role, you will establish the Commitment Scheduling & Change Commitment (CSCC) requirements for systems like Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) and 3DX as well as Planning Analysis and Commitment Tool (PACT) (a future tool intended to replace the various ways we negotiate the CS today). You will ensure CSCC is fully supported by our business systems of the future. You will get to work with architecture teams, numerous BDS functions, and Commercial Airplane peers to help clarify processes, create process documentation, coordinate requirements, facilitate system upgrades/development, provide feedback through user testing and help roll out the new tools and systems at each site for deployment. You will be the pathfinder in establishing an integrated set of tools to carry CSCC into the future!

Position Responsibilities:
Prepares, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes and maintains, integrated plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs and major initiatives at all levels across functional value streams to meet program and/or project objectives. Tracks, plans, schedules and performs risk analysis for projects, programs and change activities throughout the lifecycle of a program. Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, production rates, process improvement, or program initiatives. Develops the Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and supporting elements, and drives program planning through the Enterprise Gated Process in support of Program requirements and objectives. Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners. Identifies, analyzes and reports schedule performance variances. Performs schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses and provides potential solutions to management. Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates in relevant documentation where appropriate. Performs schedule, event and change impact analysis. Oversees implementation planning for change requirements and ensures commitment of stakeholders. Develops and posts planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports. Maintains disciplined revision control of all planning/schedule baselines.
1 year contract, possible extension/conversion.
Remote role with occasional on-site work as needed.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA, Houston, TX, Huntsville, AL, Landenberg, PA, Mesa, AZ, New Orleans, LA, Oklahoma City, OK, Philadelphia, PA, San Antonio, TX, Seal Beach, CA, or Tukwila, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience developing detailed plans and schedules
3+ years of experience in demonstrating the ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads and delivery schedules

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps
Familiar or interest in system design, will help with writing User stories and testing items from IT in support of system development
Understanding of lead time analysis and its value to program management, engineering, and supply chain management
Demonstrated ability to integrate work flows across a variety of business and engineering functions
Additional Skills:
Skills: Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
