What You’ll Do:

Support the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Support the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
Participate in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.
Participate in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Interface with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Reviewing drawings, models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability of spare parts.
Building technical data packages for use by suppliers.
Developing and implementing manufacturing plans.
Analyzing design and build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost or schedule.
Consult and coordinate with other engineering teams across multiple platforms and disciplines.

What You’ll Need:

Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
Experience with CATIA, Unigraphics (NX) or other 3D Computer aided design tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with sheet metal, machining processes and composites, as well as knowledge of assembly/installation processes.
Previous experience from professional internships.
Formal leadership positions held in work, volunteer or extracurricular organizations (ie. manager, club officer, mentor).

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science Degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
