Level 2 Project and Component Engineer, Electric Thrusters

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Level 2 Project and Component Engineer, Electric Thrusters for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Redmond, WA.

** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship **

Duties:
-Seeking an Electric Thruster Engineer for our Redmond, WA office.
-The selected candidate will help assure the success of space missions through development and qualification, of Hall thrusters and ion engines.
-The candidate will also be a key resource in the development and testing of new electric propulsion products.
-The selected candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and the highest standards of quality assurance for the testing of mission critical hardware.
-The candidate will follow established procedures and the guidance of senior staff.
-The position also requires the ability to work independently and apply engineering principles, theories and concepts.
-Typical duties will include performing technical analyses, planning and conducting test and verification activities, analyzing test data, and generating customer presentations.

Additional Information:
-Phone + Virtual panel interview
-Travel is expected to be less than 1 week per month.
-Travel could be to parts and process suppliers (typically in California) or to the customer (Ohio).
-Hybrid remote and onsite work is expected

Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree required.
-A Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline and coursework in plasma physics are preferred.
