Design Engineer

Description:
Requirements includes:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent BS degree is preferred,
3 years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD modeling in automotive industry, preferably in design of chassis or powertrain components.
Practical engineering experience with race car chassis or powertrain design, fabrication, and related mechanical systems.
Simulation skills including FEA and kinematic geometry modeling.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standard codes.
Knowledge of GD&T practices
Knowledge of mechanical and cost calculation process.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to identify true root causes.
Ability to create innovative design concepts based on sound engineering principles.
Ability to accurately apply engineering theories to design layouts and drawings.
Background in designing parts for an electrification project is a plus.
