ABOUT THE JOB:
Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions. You will be instrumental in designing the Switch Software supporting a Next Generation Avionics network. You will generate innovative solutions; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 7+ years Aerospace Engineering experience
• Experience with DO-178B/C software development life cycle
• Able to define DO-178C DAL A compliant software verification and validation strategy and methods
• Able to develop verification and validation infrastructure
• Knowledge of software configuration management and chang management practices
• Software Requirements and design decisions for Network Switch
• Hardware Device Driver development
• Software architecture and coding
• Application Definition
• Ability to code in multiple languages (C, C++, python)
• Effective Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
• Self-motivated, Accountable, Detail-oriented
• Experience with A664 / AFDX networking
• Experience with TI Hercules microcontroller development environment
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
