The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by Security. Suppliers, refer to your Supplier Guide for information on this requirement.
Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
Hybrid work schedule - on site two days per week or as required

Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 2 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
More than 2 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher.
More than 2 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing purchase order requirements.
More than 2 years of experience negotiating competitive and non-competitive purchase orders in support of USG Prime Contracts
More than 2 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts and subcontracts.
More than 2 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
Blueprint reading skills and understanding of build-to-print parts manufacturing.
Additional Skills:
| Skills: | An Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelors', Master etc.) is preferred but not required. Two or more years related work or Military experience in place of degree. |
