Heat Transfer Analyst

Description:
A Heat Transfer Analyst position is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar, with a concentration in heat transfer, or at least a year of experience in gas turbine component and system analysis and design. In this job your primary responsibility is thermal and fluid network analysis and modeling for large gas turbine system design, build, integration, and test activities. You will report to the Belcan Cincinnati Heat Transfer Group Leader as a key member of an integrated product team to develop, optimize, integrate, deliver, and transition engineering designs to production.

Heat Transfer Analyst job duties:
· Generate and perform detailed analyses of gas turbine component heat transfer models
· Ensure that models are systematically checked and validated.
· Maintain strong communication with internal and external customers as well as management and peers
· Grow your capabilities under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
· Experience with the Ansys Heat Transfer module
· Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship is required. Must have DoD Secret clearance or be clearable to obtain after hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Direct experience with gas turbine hot section heat transfer analysis using Ansys
· A degree with a concentration in heat transfer engineering
· 1 or more years of heat transfer analysis experience on gas turbine components
· Experience with FlowSimulator
· Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required/U.S. Citizenship only
