General Description:
Currently seeking a skilled Assembler in our busy production facility. The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of detailed assembling experience and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for setting up (load/unload parts), operating, and running specialized tools/machinery. Ability to follow work instructions, and read tool layout sheets is required. He/she will also have great attention to detail and an ability to multitask as required. Training will take place on first shift, but long term, this is a first shift position. Quality, problem solving, operation monitoring, critical thinking, operation and control, active listening, reading comprehension, troubleshooting & equipment maintenance as needed.
Work Experience (Preferred) / Job Requirements:
Knowledge of airframe repair preferred Follow the production schedule set by the workcenter lead and the Production Manager Adhere to production processes as determined by quality and engineering Participate in setups and cleanups as directed by the workcenter lead Work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary based on the production schedule Complete preventative maintenance as required Read, understand, and fill out all required paperwork and computer forms
Education Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required 3 + years' experience working in a production/manufacturing environment as an Assembler Strong work ethic and organizational skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted, stand, bend, stoop Able to work on foot for extended periods of time Reliable mode of transportation
