An Engineering Technician job is available with Belcan in Louisville, CO. In this role you will be responsible for supporting efforts with engineering to develop process and procedures. You will also assist through the build and test processes to support production efforts. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associates Degree in a related field and 6 or more years of relevant experience.

Engineering Technician Job Duties:
* Understands drawings, executes building and testing of flight hardware along with troubleshooting activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, work instructions and specific customer requirements.
* Completes parts lists, checks drawings, generates and processes engineering/document change requests, notices, and/or orders and other general engineer tasking with direction from Engineers.
* Work includes, but is not limited to, dismantling, repairing, fabricating, assembling and erecting aircraft components.
* Assists as required during inspection verification or modification/maintenance procedures.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* Has extensive experience with general shop tools (drills, reamers, drill jigs, clecos, nut plates, rivets, grinders, hi-lock fasteners and composi-locks).
* Has extensive knowledge of cutting and drilling carbon fiber and titanium.
* Mechanically sound and motivated.
* Design and fabrication of GSE and tooling. (Ground Support Equipment)
* Experienced in liquid shimming and bonding processes.
* Substantial use of basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages).
* Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.

Shifts Available Include:
1st Shift: M-F 6am - 4pm
2nd Shift: M-F 3:30pm - 11:30pm
3rd Shift: F, Sat, Sun, M (F & M 6am - 4pm) (Sat & Sun 6am - 6pm)
