Tool Engineer, Stress - Level 4

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Tool Engineer, Stress - Level 4 for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Canoga Park, CA.

**Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen without Dual Citizenship**
**Our client mandates that all employees and contractors must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19**
**Looking for 9 years + of experience**

Duties:
-The Tool Engineer develops and design a variety of tools and equipment required to support the manufacturing, quality and test operations.
-These positions perform feasibility analysis of special tool plans; create tool concepts and drawings utilizing environmental health and safety procedures, tool standards manuals and sound engineering practices; initiate fabrication and assist with inspection and operational checkout of special tools; and resolve tooling problems encountered during tool usage.

Skills:
-Pertinent codes, rules and regulations related to area of manufacturing engineering assignment
-Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacture (CAM) methods and techniques
-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack principles
-Quality control and regulatory processes
-Use of various computer systems and applicable software programs to produce reports and spreadsheets
-Numerical and manufacturing practices and processes
-Statics & Strength of Material Concepts
-Manufacturing methods and fabrication processes
-Engineering theory and practice relating to design and evaluation of devices or systems
-Safety regulations, principles and practices of work safety
-Engineering economics and budget preparation

Ability to:
-Evaluate tooling requests, develop design requirement and conceptualize innovative solutions
-Collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data
-Select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies
-Apply a complete understanding of computer aided design tools and systems
-Read and interpret product drawings, tool drawings and related specifications
-Build and manipulate CAD data sets
-Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
-Use various computer systems to produce reports and spreadsheets
-Apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
-Prepare complete and comprehensive reports
-Deal with multiple tasks and deadlines set by management
-Analyze engineering problems and adopt effective courses of action
-Perform in a concurrent engineering environment
-Operate effectively in a team environment
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
-Seeking individual with Stress Engineering background

Desired:
-Experience with ANSYS, MATLAB, Material Handling

Education:
-A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine (9) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
