JOB TITLE: Equipment Tool Designer 2

Summary:
Post-process SLS parts: support removal, surface smoothing, and final finishing
Sanding, bead blasting, polishing, and other manual/machine finishing techniques
Apply adhesives, primers, and coatings to enhance durability and aesthetics
Operate and maintain various AM equipment (SLA, SLS, PolyJet, FDM, DMLS)
Document and refine post-processing workflows across AM technologies
Collaborate with customers to optimize part design for additive manufacturing
Requirements:
Technical Associate Degree and typically 1+ years of related work experience
OR Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Hands-on experience with SLS and other additive manufacturing post-processing
Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement equipment
Knowledge of surface finishing techniques, adhesives, paints, and AM materials
Strong attention to detail and quality control during post-processing
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
Additive Manufacturing experience across multiple technologies
Prototyping and part design experience
Spray painting and model finishing expertise
Comfort working in a fast-paced R&D environment
Strong customer interaction and collaboration skills
