PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Fabrication Specialists to support cutting-edge projects at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. 
 

About the Role

• Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-month contract)

• Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Pay Rate: $31.28 – $43.80 per hour

Whether you're a certified orbital tube welder or a skilled tube installer, your hands-on expertise will help make history.

What You'll Do

Depending on your specialization, you'll be involved in:

• Orbital Tube Welding: Set up and perform certified orbital tube welding for critical aerospace components

• Tube Installation: Install and fabricate aerospace-grade tubing and components with precision

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal, extrusions, and composite materials

• Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components

• Perform soldering for electronic and avionics components

• Support corrosion protection through organic chemical conversion and coating application

• Prepare and install wire harnesses and test article assemblies

Who We're Looking For

Orbital Tube Welders (2 openings):

• Must have current orbital tube weld certification

• Strong experience with tube installation (preferred)

• Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus

Tube Installers (4 openings):

• Must have direct experience installing aerospace-grade tubing

• Familiarity with orbital tube welding is a plus

•  NASA-related project experience is highly desirable

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain a NASA certification post-start

• Must be able to work with high precision, follow detailed instructions, and adhere to strict safety protocols

• Excellent attention to detail and quality control is essential
