Contract Position

$31.72-$39.90/Hour

Responsibilities:

Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing.
Performs rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.
Perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as, systems operational functional validation testing.
Perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, including, troubleshoot pre and post-flight checks and perform maintenance and modification actions for delivery.
Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and documents faulty components.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification actions.
Resolve identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
Verify the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection.
Assist in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
Participate in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
Plan, schedule and arrange own activities with the assistance of lead.
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED combined with 1 + year of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required, employees in this classification may exercise duties and privileges granted under that certificate.
Avionics and/or electrical experience.
Experience with computing & operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
FAA Airframe & PowerPlant license.
Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
787 Program Experience.
Experience in a team environment.
Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
A&P License
