Electrical Technician

Description:
PDS Tech is currently seeking an Electrical Technician for our motorsport client in Santa Clarita, CA

Description:
Responsible for manufacturing, production and repair of looms and wiring harnesses for in-house test equipment, engine ancillaries and on vehicle. Production of sensors, termination of connectors, PCB Board/Circuit repair, soldering and seal boots and covered harnesses. Tracking and maintenance of all supplied looms and test wiring. Testing procedures and associated in house hardware validation. Investigation and validation of new sensors and ancillary hardware components for future systems. Tracking and maintenance of all Electrical and Electronic hardware.

Relevant experience, requirements:
Requirements: Minimum of High School Diploma, 2-year degree course or certificate at trade school a plus; minimum of 5-year experience in the manufacturing and design of test equipment and wire harness assembly.

Must Haves:
Knowledge of military specification wiring procedures.
Use of the relevant harness production tools and test equipment.
An understanding of automotive components such as ignition systems and ECUs and detailed knowledge of vehicle wiring.
The ability to prioritize and coordinate projects from inception to completion. Ability to work under minimal supervision. PC proficient.
Familiarity with use of various wiring tools, meters, and testers.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints and/or drawings.
