JOB TITLE: Aircraft Mechanic - Saab
LOCATION: Manassas, VA
PAY RATE: $30/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Saab 340 aircraft.
Support complex modifications, retrofits, and upgrades to meet regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with FAA, NASA, and company policies in all maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities per FAA and company requirements.
Monitor systems and components to prevent critical issues.
Provide mentorship to junior technicians as needed.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of tools and materials.
Execute safety protocols and conduct final inspections for airworthiness.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of Saab 340 maintenance and repair experience.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
GE CT7 General Familiarization Certification preferred.
Flight Safety International Saab 340 Maintenance Certification preferred.
GE Dowty Propeller Field Repairs Certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of Saab 340 systems, structures, and avionics.
Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to work onsite in Manassas, VA, 5 days a week.
Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain airport access card.
