Subcontracts Administrator – Drive Procurement Success in Aerospace

PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Subcontracts Administrator to join our team in Houston, TX. This role plays a key part in managing procurement and subcontracting processes that support aerospace projects. If you have strong analytical skills, a passion for supplier management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Qualify and manage subcontractors to ensure high-quality performance

• Issue Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

• Prepare subcontract documents, amendments, and ensure compliance with prime contract requirements

• Conduct commercial evaluations of proposals to support informed decision-making

• Manage cradle-to-grave subcontracting processes, from pre-award to contract closeout

• Serve as a liaison between subcontractors and project managers to ensure seamless communication and execution

What You Bring:

Required:

• 1-2 years of experience in subcontracts administration or procurement

• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Familiarity with various contract types (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials)

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 3-4 years of subcontract administration experience

• Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)

• Experience with CostPoint/Deltek software
