CNC Machinist

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a CNC Machinist for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure fits and assembles of precision parts into mechanical equipment.
Must be capable and comfortable working within a diverse team environment.
Must be able to support modified and special shift requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
CNC Machinist/Manual Machinist. Master Cam experience

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
