Pay Rate: $25.66/HR

Position Purpose:
Are you passionate about avionics and electrical systems? Join our team as an Avionics Installer I and work hands-on with cutting-edge avionics equipment. Under moderate supervision, you will assist in the installation and removal of avionics electrical components, wire harness fabrication, and perform functional tests of avionics and electrical systems. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable industry experience and grow within a supportive team environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED required.

2. General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

3. Ability to use a multimeter is essential.

4. Entry-level position, perfect for those starting their avionics career.

5. Preferred: Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures based on blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

• Help complete tasks within allotted time frames, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Support the team in maintaining required logs, records, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the company's FOD program, tool control program, and 5S practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as directed by the supervisor.

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with general software tools.

• Preferred: Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of a youth apprenticeship program in avionics/electrical systems.
