Job Title: Dimension Control Technician 3 (Tool Technician) Job Type: Full time; contract (6 months) Schedule: Onsite, 4x10 Monday - Thursday Location: Palmdale, CA 93550 Pay Rate: $32.00 - $37.23
You will lay out, fabricate and assemble various jigs and tools with exacting tolerances and complex contours based on design drawings. The technician will also operate optical instruments to check alignment and prepare shop drawings for parts fabrication.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
Experience in laying out, fabricating, and assembling jigs and fixtures.
Ability to work from tool design drawings.
Proficiency in using optical instruments for checking alignment.
Skills in developing holding devices, jigs and fixture details.
Capability to prepare shop drawings for parts fabrication.
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with statistical process control procedures.
Pay Details: $32.00 to $37.23 per hour
