PDS Tech is looking for a Procurement Specialist in Ridley Park, PA for an Aerospace Company:

Job Title: Procurement Field Rep 
Job Type: Full Time (12 months)
Location:  Ridley Park, PA 19078
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday – Friday 7am - 4pm. 
Pay Rate: $49.06 - $52.00/HR

Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree or higher.
o More than 7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
o More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors or managing a factory to deliver products and services
o More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
o More than 3 years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project / Factory Management skills
o More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

Responsibilities:

o Learn and practice applicable Boeing policies and procedures
o Leads efforts to establish executable plans, ensure performance to plan, mitigate risk and resolve supply chain issues (technical or non-technical) associated with work movement, partnering with key suppliers and Supply Chain partners to drive quality and on-time parts delivery.
o Engages suppliers and provides technical assistance in areas such as manufacturing, planning, and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity. Monitors metrics and manages work movements through a gated process and ensures process compliance.
o Communicates with internal customers and stakeholders i.e. procurement agents, suppliers, field quality, field operations, engineering and manufacturing to report work movement status, risks and help needed.
o Contribute positively on-site supplier assessments to validate transition and delivery plans, identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement, and support Boeing procurement strategy associated with the work movement.
o Assists suppliers in developing plans and monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements related to the work movements.
o Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes (e.g., lean manufacturing, shop floor control, work prioritization, production and inventory control system) to enhance supplier ability to produce and deliver products and services.
