Calibration Coordinator - Quality Inspector III - (Contract)

As a Quality Engineer II, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our products and production equipment. You'll participate in the designing and testing of our processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and development of standardized quality acceptance criteria. You'll write inspection procedure, assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed, as well as participate in audits. You'll provide support during planning, organizing, and conducting of our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques.

Responsibilities Include:

    Tool Calibration to include but not limited to calibrated tools, gauges, test equipment and test racks. Establish and account for all equipment requiring calibration, or validation at use. Maintain calibration and recall schedule that accommodates availability of assets for continued Program support Track and ensure calibration requirements are accomplished as needed to support all active programs. Provide liaison with calibration companies OEMS, test engineers and operations personnel for all calibrated equipment Maintain Calibration process currency with appropriate site-specific work instructions, templates and forms. Update and manage equipment status in the appropriate electronic system. Periodic validation of documented tool usage in the appropriate as-built record or database. Investigate equipment out of tolerance (OOT) conditions with program quality personnel Perform equipment validations to support product execution (e.g. ESD bench certifications) Reconcile invoices based on returned equipment and appropriate level of traceability Coordinate with tool control personnel and supervisors to meet required schedules and objectives Coordinate with Training Department any control processes, procedures and training as required for calibration process. Perform audits and periodic checks to ensure accountability by individuals and company users

Must Haves:

    High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience Higher education may substitute for relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance Extensive experience with finished goods inspection Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES Understanding of material flow in operations Ability to draft work instructions and SOP's Proficient with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+ Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards
