Our Aerospace Client in China requires additional support for their current and future programs. They desire an Engineer or Specialist with strong experience In Aircraft Structural Datum and Stiffness Design.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client and to significantly contribute towards the success of their existing and new aircraft programs.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
More than 10 years working experience in aircraft load / stress calculation.
Experience in load calculation and load distribution.
Experience in static aeroelastic design and flutter design;
Proficient in Patran / NASTRAN software.
Good command of English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Degree or Doctorate qualified.
Role and Duties:
Top level planning of aircraft stiffness design in the whole life cycle of each model.
The confirmation and verification of aircraft stiffness design requirements, the design of aircraft target stiffness, the research of frontier technology in the field of stiffness design, the formulation of relevant standards / specifications / and the teaching of past knowledge.
The design of the target stiffness index of each component; the coupling loading of the whole aircraft aerodynamic load and structural load; the calculation processing of the whole aircraft aerodynamic load; the calculation processing of the whole aircraft structural load; the sensitivity analysis of the static aeroelastic energy and the stiffness parameters; the sensitivity analysis of the flutter performance and the stiffness parameters.
Top level planning of aircraft structural benchmark design in the whole life cycle of each model; confirmation and verification of aircraft structural benchmark design requirements , aircraft structural benchmark design, research on cutting-edge technology in the field of structural benchmark, formulation of relevant standards / specifications / and teaching of post knowledge.
Analysis of force transfer route and load of aircraft stage.
Aeroelastic and flutter design of aircraft.
Conversion and loading from aerodynamic load to structural finite element load.
The finite element models (static model, flutter fishbone model and static aeroelastic fluid structure coupling model) are established and analysed.
Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China full time on a fixed term contract basis - duration 1-3 years. Applicants are asked to highlight their relevant experience upon application.
