Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineer
This is for is a technology company based in Albuquerque, NM dedicated to providing high quality engineering services, expert program consultation, and highly specialized technical equipment to meet our customer’s demanding requirements in cybersecurity compliance, deployable sensors, and cutting-edge research, development, test and evaluation systems.

The Company is searching for a talented senior level radio frequency (RF) Design Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into our existing team to provide subject matter expertise in the area RF system design including antenna design, component selection, end-to-end system design, as well as detailed system modeling, simulation, and analysis. Knowledge of satellite communications, telemetry, electronic warfare, radar, and specialty systems for ISR applications is necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physics with RF emphasis
• 7-10 years’ experience in RF system and antenna design
• Demonstrated experience in general RF theory and applications
• Strong proficiency in the operation of RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, scalar and vector network analyzers, bit error rate test sets, and similar equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as MS Word and Excel
• Must be able to work independently or with a team, handle the stress of multiple projects, changing schedules, and short suspense tasking
• Proficiency in DoD guidelines and standards, security procedures, testing protocols, and administrative standards
• Experience using standard commercial software tools for RF system and antenna design
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Engineering or Physics with RF emphasis
• 10+ years’ experience in RF system and antenna design
• Experience using MATLAB Wireless Design Suite and / or CST Microwave Studio
• Occasional travel, up to 25%, is required for this position. Travel will include customer and vendor visits in office/meeting environments as well as engineering support requirements which may include CONUS and OCONUS deployment aboard specialized RDT&E assets in support of customer requirements
• Candidate must be capable of meeting FAA medical flight clearance requirements
Citizenship and Clearance:
• US Citizenship is required for this position
• Candidate must meet minimum eligibility requirements to obtain a US DoD Top Secret level security clearance
This position is contingent upon contract award.
