Data Management Specialist

General Summary:
Works with enterprise company data located in SAP, Kronos, Teamcenter, CATIA, sharepoint, MS Project Server and intranet to support the development of business metrics and generate recurring reports to support business decisions. This function also interfaces with IS to accurately understand the meaning of data available in company systems, the most efficient way to collect it in a regular basis and, when metrics are mature, implement their automation. Use data analytics to assess current state, perform sensitivity analysis of future scenarios and make recommendations to management.

Duties and Responsibilities:<\b>
• Analysis of data structure existing in several different company systems to be able to create and reliably produce meaningful management information.
• Analysis of the quality of the data used for metrics and implement processes to clean data so that no manual process is needed.
• Understand the business and use data to generate management metrics, efficiency and other performance indicators from data gathered.
• Team up with IS to generate develop solution for systems, extract data and create reports on a regular basis.
• Interact with different parts of the organization to improve data accuracy and consistency.
• Create program / macros to automate reports and train others to do the same.
• Provide recommendations using data analytics 8. Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
• Business BA, Production/Industrial Engineer BS or Operational Research BS.
• 0-3 years working with business analytics is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Skilled in numerical analysis and use of data for simulations.
• Excellent critical thinking.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel including writing and debugging Macros.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding and working experience with databases. Working knowledge of Oracle database is preferred.
• Work well in teams, be detail oriented, ability to understand big picture, be proactive, persistent and flexible.
• Great desire to learn and develop the understanding of how ERP and / or PLM Systems are used to manage an Industrial Organizations. Some SAP and Teamcenter is preferred.
• Ability to create meaningful and easy to understand metrics based on data existing in company systems.

Physical Requirements:
• Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
• Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
• Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
• Effectively communicate in Business English language.
• Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
• Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
