Manufacturing Engineer I

Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer I job in Louisville, CO is currently available through Belcan with one of our Aerospace/Defense clients. You will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and support cutting edge products & services. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's of Science degree in related engineering discipline and typically 0-2 years of
relevant experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. This is a great opportunity with a growing company.

Manufacturing Engineer I Job duties:

* Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per
ASME Y14.5
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Knowledge of industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric
design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing and production
processes
* Familiarity with work instruction/traveler development
* Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review
Board (MRB)
* Experience with new product introduction and transition to production
* Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES),and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's of Science degree in related engineering discipline and typically 0-2 years of
relevant experience
* Basic understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
* Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
* The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
