Summary:

As an IT Project Manager II, you are responsible for managing many projects and tasks in varying IT areas such as business application development, application support, systems administration, network administration, and others. You will need to have a strong understanding of IT practices and terminology in order to be knowledgeable enough to understand when to raise questions in order to correctly steer the project to completion. You will need to be bright, imaginative, and a capable technologist with strong communication skills specifically seeking an environment where you will impact the direction of the organization and be a key contributor to the overall success of the business. The pace is exceptionally fast at Sierra Space, and our dynamic environment will see many new projects in the coming year. The IT Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Current Six Sigma Green or Black certification preferred (or, must be willing to immediately take steps to attain)
Preferred:
Exposure Typically, 4 - 6 years of relevant experience Higher education may substitute for relevant experience Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards Experience with program management processes, standards & certification The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
