Electrical Engineer


PDS is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer that can be remote for 6-9 months!

Candidate focuses on developing state of the art Hardware in the Loop (HITL) simulation systems used to test cutting edge guided munitions for the Air Force’s premier munitions acquisitions organization. With expertise in in the areas of radar, electronic warfare, target generation, and digital signal processing, the Fort Walton Beach team has been a recognized authority on RF HITL solutions for the last 25 years. The individual selected for this position will be joining a team of talented engineers and scientists to develop advanced system concepts from inception to prototype and production. The right candidate will be comfortable operating as a member of a small inter-disciplinary engineering team and eager to attack any technical challenge.

With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, client specializes in responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Candidates should have experience and interest in electronic circuit designs and printed circuit board (PCB) design. PCB designs will require experience and layout skills with high-speed multi-layer printed circuit boards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Component Research and Selection
  • Schematic Capture and PCB Layout Design
  • Board-level Testing and Debugging
  • Other Electronic Design Tasks



  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Candidate must have at least (3) two years of relevant experience.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Candidate must demonstrated experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, PADS, etc.





  • Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with:
  • DSP or Embedded Microprocessor design
  • Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal design
  • Schematic Capture/ PCB Layout tools such as ALTIUM Designer
  • Test Equipment for circuit debug and test
  • Embedded Firmware Design
  • FPGA Design, VHDL and Verilog



Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
