What You’ll Do:

Acquire commercial-off-the-shelf software products and software maintenance services for all direct programs, government and commercial, and for all indirect departments, such as Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), and Engineering
Review, draft, and negotiate business and legal requirements in the best interest of multiple customers
Execute licensing and procurement agreements, process supplier/publisher invoices for supported agreements, and manage supplier/publisher relationships
Research licensing and software product information
Engage in trainings to expand and strengthen licensing, product, program, and compliance knowledge
Work independently, and as part of a team, strategically solving problems in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
Ensure that processes and procedures associated with software acquisition are followed and compliance reviews are performed
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
Have working knowledge of software licensing agreements
Have excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Adapt easily to changing business and support priorities

What You’ll Need:

qualified and highly motivated professional with legal, contracts, and/or IT procurement experience to interface effectively with supplier/software publisher personnel (including, legal counsel, sales people, and all levels of management), and with GD internal customers (including, legal counsel, program managers, engineers, and all levels of business management).
Knowledge in SW Licensing and advanced decision-making skills
Exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor or on a team
Ability to quickly understand and apply new information quickly; handles more complex problems
In-depth knowledge/understanding of Government contractor purchasing requirements, how to apply Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR, and use of the ERP/MRP systems
In-depth knowledge in the applicable contractual flow downs, General Dynamic's policies/procedures, federal, state, Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR , and local laws, and the ability to apply them in the procurements of commodities/services/subcontracts
Very strong negotiation skills and ability to develop win-win solutions
Advanced computer skills

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree without work experience.
