What You’ll Do:

Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
Develop and maintain code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
Assist with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
Support software project management and software supplier management functions.
Select, tailor and deploy processes and tools; establishes metrics.
Perform software research and trade studies.
Troubleshoot software issues.
Work under general supervision.
Work virtually with other team members to help develop and deliver analytics solutions to support military platforms like F/A-18, F-15, etc.
Assist with the implementation, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for data analytics related software (primarily web-based) applications; development and maintenance of code; and integration of software components into fully functional software systems.
Other tasks may include assisting with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
Develop, document, maintain and unit tests code by utilizing advanced software development environments and programming languages such as C#.
Develop, document and maintain software design by applying established methods and practices.
Perform troubleshooting of defects. Collaborates with others to propose solutions to problems.
Gather and organize data for use in plans, schedules and estimates.
Assist in the specification and maintenance of software requirements.
Integrate and compile software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment.
Document deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.
Perform troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May gather and document data on subject matter.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

2+ years of professional experience programming in C# is required.
1+ years of professional experience with Software Testing or Software Verification
Experience (1+ years) in web development programming using AngularJS, ASP.NET MVC (or equivalent) and JavaScript is also required.
Experience (1+ years) working with SQL databases (including writing SQL scripts) is also required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with any of the following is desired:
Programming experience in any of the following languages is desired but not required: AngularJS, React, SpringBoot, Python, .NET Core, MS WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), and/or Tableau.
Experience working with Oracle databases is also desired.
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GitLab is desired.
Experience with Agile/Scrum
Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or other cloud development environments

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physucs or Chemistry combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
