Product Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
A Product Manufacturing Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Clearwater, FL. This is a full time, contract position. Great matching candidates will have the ability to independently lead problem analysis to develop new manufacturing processes and procedures. You will be part of team that manages program cost, schedule and technical issues related to production/manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:
* Drive overall manufacturing and site performance
* Prioritization of work packages
* Partnership with the product factory to support continuous improvement projects
* Solve complex problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM related field
* At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing engineering environment. Ideally within the avionics, aerospace, or defense industries
* Hands-on work ethic and out of box thinker
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Legal authorization to work in the US: Citizenship required due to the nature of this work

Desired but not required skills:
* Six Sigma certified / Knowledge if Six Sigma tools
