Receptionist

Description:

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's most exciting aerospace companies!

    Experience with MS Office and data programs Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
    Typing speed and accuracy Confidentiality Able to recognize hazardous or potential security problems impacting operations. Ability to coordinate and liaise multiple activities with a culturally diverse audience and throughout all levels of the corporate organization. Ability to work a flexible schedule outside the normal business days and hours to support operations or special events. Ability to support occasional weekend operations as needed.

Responsibilities

    Insert data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents Apply data program techniques and procedures Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations Scan documents and print files, when needed Keep information confidential Respond to queries for information and access relevant files Comply with data integrity and security policies Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions Coordinate and support daily site operations related to security. Manages lobby desk supporting security program requirements. Receive and verify guests, vendors, suppliers and coordinate documents for their visits. Assists in the implementation of standards, processes, procedures and methods for security Administratively supports maintaining site security access control systems, closed circuit television, and other security related programs. Prepares notification and documentation for security related incidents. Supports internal audit program to evaluate the Security Team's effectiveness Supports and conducts screening programs such as Denied Party Screening. Visitor control operations.

Requirements

    Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk Experience with MS Office and data programs Familiarity with administrative duties Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner Typing speed and accuracy Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation Attention to detail Confidentiality Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks Able to recognize hazardous or potential security problems impacting operations. Ability to coordinate and liaise multiple activities with a culturally diverse audience and throughout all levels of the corporate organization. Ability to work a flexible schedule outside the normal business days and hours to support operations or special events. Ability to support occasional weekend operations as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software applications. Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to develop and deliver articulate presentations to groups of all sizes and levels, technical writing experience preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours outside of normal business hours. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods. Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces. Physically able to handle items weighing up to 40lbs (unassisted).

Suggestions for Education/Certifications

    High school diploma or GED required. Certifications or similar within security or emergency management is beneficial (i.e. Threat Management, ICS, NIMS).

Preferred Skills and Experience

    1+ years of aviation security experience (desired). 2+ years of administrative management experience. Knowledge and experience with security systems such as access control and closed-circuit television. Professional, positive approach, demonstrated integrity, assertive without being demanding Ability to coordinate and liaise multiple activities with a culturally diverse audience and throughout all levels of the corporate organization. The ability to recognize hazardous or potential security problems impacting operations. Knowledge and experience in access control systems and CCTV systems.
