Description:
We have an Excellent career opportunity for a Low-Voltage Systems Technician to join a leading Company in Nashville, TN area.

The successful candidate must have experience with complex, IP-based, low-voltage systems installations and services. Systems include access control, IP & analog video, nurse calls, intrusion, structured cabling, and other types of low-voltage and network-based systems. This job will require attention to detail, professional appearance and behavior, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both self-directed and as a member of a crew team. Most work is completed during a normal 8-hour day, but all employees must be available for after-hours and weekends as required. Daily travel and some overnight travel are required.

Responsibilities:
Install, analyze, diagnose, and repair complex integrated low-voltage systems, including troubleshooting issues that may be related to network architecture, protocols, or other network-related factors
Complete major systems integrations, including system commissioning
Communicate with subcontractors and coordinate work with subcontractors as required to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
Conduct all customer interactions to drive a high degree of customer satisfaction
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the value PTI can provide to customers, including communicating potential leads to appropriate resources
Complete all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner
Maintain all company property and supplies, including but not limited to vehicles, tools, uniforms, parts, and documentation

Basic Hiring Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent with formal electrical training required
Minimum 5 years of Security industry experience
Minimum 3 years in a lead-technician or other leadership role
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to work nights and weekends, if required
Must be available for travel if required
Be able to lift at least 60 pounds above the waist

Desired Qualifications:
Access control and IP video hardware and software installation experience are a must
Software House, Lenel, Identicard, Vanderbilt, Exacq, Milestone, Axis, and American Dynamics certifications are strongly preferred
Proficiency in network architecture and protocols, database management, and fiber optics
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with customers in a way that will best drive customer commitment and satisfaction
