Summary:
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools
Partner with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to mitigate performance risks using Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies
Identify production constraints and roadblocks, escalating unresolved issues through open and clear communication
Apply KPI and Production System principles to improve production flow and work environment
Support overtime as required to meet customer commitments
Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities
Support team performance through cross-training and mentoring of teammates
Requirements:
Education and experience are typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma or GED)
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
1+ year of experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication
1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions and reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English
1+ year of experience using computer applications such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office Suite, or other specialized software
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
