Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
Fabricate and modify structural components and aircraft parts
Perform minor structural repairs on composite components, attached or detached
Assist with hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
Support complex structural repairs on or off aircraft
Assist with aircraft component repair, removal, and installation
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Participate in 5-S and continuous improvement activities
Perform and document work in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements
Operate ground support equipment as required
Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations
Support off-site maintenance activities as needed
Assist with aircraft towing and support other maintenance disciplines as required
Perform all tasks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
Training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent education
Typically 3+ years of aircraft structural sheet metal repair and modification experience
Ability to interpret and work from mechanical engineering drawings
Strong written and verbal communication skills regarding individual and aircraft status
Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with demonstrated inventory and tool control
Ability to obtain required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications
Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable
