PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Structural Assemblers to support a leading aerospace innovator at our facilities in Lemont Furnace, PA or Smithfield, PA.

Role Summary

As a Structural Assembler, you will perform essential production assembly tasks that support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components. Your work ensures accuracy, reliability, and performance—directly influencing the safety and success of each product delivered. This position is ideal for someone who values precision, teamwork, and opportunities to grow technical skills in a high-performing environment.

Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Lemont Furnace, PA or Smithfield, PA (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be willing to work any shift
Pay Rate Starting at: $26.06 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble structural and mechanical components, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.

• Follow detailed work instructions and perform manual operations to ensure quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues using established procedures.

• Document and implement corrective or preventive actions as required.

• Support continuous improvement and technical skill development.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum 1 year of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

• Experience assembling or fabricating mechanical or electrical systems.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations, requiring U.S. Person status or appropriate export licensing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using specialized tools (e.g., wire crimpers, strippers, multimeters, routing tools).

• Knowledge of assembly and production processes, including wiring diagrams and change memos.

• Familiarity with in-service vs. production manufacturing requirements.

• Experience supporting evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, and processes.

• Strong understanding of FOD prevention, ESD procedures, and safe material handling.
