Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (12 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate Starting at : $39.73 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier aerospace manufacturer to hire an experienced Aerospace Instructor who is passionate about developing talent and driving operational excellence. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in preparing and upskilling the aerospace workforce—directly impacting safety, quality, and performance across manufacturing operations.

Your Role and Impact

As an Aerospace Instructor, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve technical and leadership training that supports aerospace manufacturing excellence. Your ability to translate complex concepts into practical, hands-on learning will help individuals and teams perform at their best while meeting strict industry and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

• Conduct learning needs analyses and establish clear learning objectives

• Deliver training content and assess effectiveness against defined objectives

• Coach individuals and teams to improve performance and skill proficiency

• Instruct in specialized aerospace disciplines such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, or related areas

• Facilitate engaging learning events, track student performance, and enhance course delivery with real-world insights

• Prepare, schedule, and deliver training to meet organizational requirements

• Utilize a variety of instructional methods and customize courseware, presentations, and learning guides

• Emphasize safety practices and precautions in all training activities

• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and address classroom issues promptly

• Perform individual and group assessments and recommend process or performance improvements

• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify and develop additional instructors

• Ensure all course delivery complies with commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational standards

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support

• 3+ years of experience in coaching, instructing, or employee development

• Experience designing and delivering leadership development or technical training curriculum

• Experience reading and interpreting detailed work instructions, blueprints, and drawings
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace Manufacturing and/or Lean certifications

• Experience in Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, or Systems disciplines

• Hands-on experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, or electrical systems

• Experience in areas such as electrician, structures, wing or spar assembly, needs assessment, or job analysis

Typical Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience

• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of related experience)
