Position: Assembler

Location: Honeywell Aerospace – Urbana, OH
Schedule: Full-time | 4x10s (Monday–Thursday) | Shift Start Times: 5:00 AM - 3:00pm
Pay: $17.00/hr & $25.50/OT + Unlimited Overtime
Bonuses:

• $1,000 at 14 days (perfect attendance required)

• $1,000 at 60 days

• $1,000 at 90 days
  (Must qualify for 14-day bonus to receive 60 & 90-day bonuses)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble small to medium-sized components and LED lighting systems used in military aircraft

• Read and interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly

• Use a variety of hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wire strippers) and power tools (e.g., drills, soldering irons) to perform assembly tasks

• Route, connect, and secure wiring and components to ensure proper electrical connections

• Conduct visual inspections and functional checks to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards

• Track production progress and document work completed using production logs or computer systems

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electronic assembly

• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts

• Familiarity with electronic equipment, circuitry, and wiring practices

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Skilled in the safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools

• Understanding of production assembly processes in a manufacturing or factory setting

• Ability to follow detailed instructions with a focus on quality and safety

• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs as needed

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with proof of residency & willing to undergo a Background check & Drug test

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience assembling LED lighting systems

• Experience working in a production line or aerospace manufacturing environment
