Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Shifts: Must be available for any shift

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM
  Pay Rate: $36.17 – $45.59 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring skilled Flight Readiness Technicians (Level C) to join a high-performance team supporting the Delivery Center in North Charleston, SC. In this pivotal role, you will ensure aircraft are flight-ready by performing detailed inspections, testing systems, and supporting final delivery—directly impacting safety and performance at the highest standards of the aerospace industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform final component installation and verify aircraft readiness

• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, systems tests, and functional validations

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems

• Ensure accuracy of maintenance and modification actions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare aircraft for delivery

• Follow flight test protocols and safety standards with precision

• Plan and manage your daily activities with autonomy and responsibility

What You Bring to the Team:

Required Qualifications:

• FAA A&P License (Required)

• 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing

• 1+ years of avionics and/or electrical systems experience

• Willingness to work any shift (including nights and weekends)

• Eligibility to obtain FAA Repairman’s Certificate (if not already held)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on the 787 Program

• Background in airline, MRO, or overhaul environments

• Familiarity with computing and operating systems

• Proven success working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Informal or formal leadership experience
