Description:
• Mechanical Engineer
• Contract up to 6 Months
• Onsite in Huntsville, AL
• Pay Rate $45.00 - $50.00 Hourly NOOT
• 5/40-1st Shift
• Ability obtain a Secret Clearance
Required:
• Designs and oversees testing of mechanical components and mechanisms for launch systems
• Assists with planning and executing design modifications and design reviews
• Strong experience with CREO
• Experience with DSR6 (Model-Based Definition) design methodology
• Experience designing and analyzing mechanical mechanisms
• Some travel may be required based on program needs (less than 10%)

Desired:
• Familiarity with tooling and MGSE (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment)
• Experience with welded steel structures
• Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and other relevant specifications
