We are currently seeking a Materials Engineer ENT. Engineering - Materials - Entry Level Supports analysis and characterization of metallic and non-metallic materials, and processing techniques in order to meet the requirements for the procurement, design, or operation of product. Additional responsibilities may include supporting failure analyses, mechanical testing, corrosion studies, tribological evaluations, and environmental compatibility assessments. Typically 0 - 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Material Flow Engineer to join our team. The Material Replenishment Engineer will be responsible for optimizing logistics and material flow within our manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operations and on-time production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Flow Design: Develop and implement strategies and plans that optimize material flow and maintain accurate inventory within the factory.
2. Material Replenishment: Design and improve material replenishment processes, including the layout of storage areas near production lines, and material flow paths, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
3. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination within the material replenishment operations.
4. Health and Safety: Ensure that all logistics and material replenishment activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
5. Data Collection and Analysis: Support team with maintaining accurate Plan For Every Part (PFEP). Analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, quality, and production, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Proven experience in factory logistics, material flow optimization, or supply chain management. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. - SAP experience is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Pay Details: $32.00 PER HOUR
