FARO CAM2 Programmer

Description:
Summary -
Assist the quality department reduce costs by creating inspection-path programs for FARO / CAM 2 CMM's.
You will be given access to main model database and import the model and process in CAM 2.
Plan and develop layouts from blueprints and templates.
Determine part inspection requirements from blueprint features.
Create inspection-path programs.
Administer and/or edit previously created programs.
Program a Quick-Tool to repeat the same inspection on all parts and create the reports.
Perform first-run layouts.

Description -
Ability/knowledge of creating quick tools within CAM2 to be utilized by our inspection department to complete the inspection process.
Candidate must have knowledge of CAM2 software.
Knowledge of and ability to use FARO probe arm and Blue light scanner.
Ability to generate reports within CAM2.
Ability to create custom reports within CAM2 (helpful not required).
Ability to interpret both 2D and 3D engineering.
Understanding of dimensional and tolerance characteristics.
Basic understanding of GD&T.
Aerospace/Aviation knowledge (preferred).

Education/Experience -
High School Diploma/GED & 7 years of experience.
Associates/Vocational degree & 5 years of experience.
