Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of national industrial security policies and compliance programs. Supports the Facility Security Officer and Information System Security Manager by performing a variety of industrial security compliance duties, including administering compliance: Classified safeguarding, personnel security, access control, security education and training, receipt and dispatch, and insider threat, and compiling, maintaining, and monitoring statistical reports in support of the department. Provides solutions to problems involving unusual complexity. Provides input to Security department objectives and long-range goals. Keeps current within the area of specialty in support of company objectives and assignments. Keeps current with Federal and contractual security requirements and trends. Represents the Security COE as required. Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinative activity across organizational lines. Responsibilities include administering day-to-day security activities, including handling security functions in physical, information, and subcontract security disciplines. Program Security: Monitoring and reviewing DD254s (Classified Contract Specification) to ensure that they are current and updated Security Classification guidance is on file and available. Assists with conducting investigations to verify information obtained to establish the accuracy and authenticity of facts and evidence.
