PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is seeking candidates for Forklift Operators for a Warehouse Distribution position in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders for shipment by meticulously verifying items against the customer order, ensuring proper packing, and labeling of packages.

• Maintain an adequate supply of packing materials by monitoring inventory levels and initiating purchase requisitions when necessary.

• Properly prepare products for shipment, considering factors such as size, weight, potential damage, and customer domestic/export requirements, whether packaged in a box, on a skid, or in a crate.

• Accurately perform all paperwork and data entry functions associated with shipping.

• Safety First.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.

• 6+ months of shipping and receiving experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in operating powered industrial truck equipment, including forklifts, Raymonds, and yard cranes, as well as other shipping-associated equipment such as carpentry tools, hand tools, overhead and jib cranes, lifting chains and slings, pneumatic air hammers, power hand saws, and pneumatic staplers, in a safe and efficient manner.

• Punctuality is a must. 

Job Type: Full-time; Permanent Position

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays). Onsite.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (depending on experience)

Status: W-2 (no sponsorship available)
